Firefighters douse the flames of the small aircraft which crashed in Western Germany near the town of Trier.
Fire Department spokesman Erich Thieltges says the Cessna Citation was traveling from England in thick fog.
(SOUNDBITE) (German) FIRE-FIGHTER ERICH THIELTGES, SAYING:
“A twin-engine jet plane touched the power supply for the railway, and then crashed. It totally burned out. There are four people assumed in the wreck, nothing more specific can be said at this point.”
The victims, two passengers and two pilots, were reportedly German nationals.
